Spring storm packs a punch drenching Menlo Park

The weather forecast was spot on today with rain predicted to start around 7:30 am and ending around 3:00 pm. And that’s pretty much what it did, yielding to blue skies in the late afternoon.
The clear skies were all the better to show off the gorgeous yellow roses discovered at one end of Bay Laurel.
InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge measured 0.77″ bringing the season-to-date to 23.75″.
On this date exactly a year ago, the season-to-date was 39.45″.
