District 5 council member Maria Doerr not seeking re-election

Menlo Park city council member Maria Doerr, who represents District 5, announced today she will not seek re-election, citing “professional commitments and personal circumstances [that] will necessitate my relocation from our wonderful community.”

District 3 council member Jen Wolosin announced in March that she would not seek re-election saying “many familial and personal considerations have factored into my decision.”

Both Maria and Jen are first time council members.
