Wildmind Science Learning comes to Menlo Park Library on June27

On Thursday, June 27, from 10:15 to 11:00 am, science educators from Wildmind Science Learning are bringing some of their resident animal ambassadors for a very special assembly outside the Menlo Park Library (800 Alma St.)
“Wild, Odd & Weird” explores the gentler side of the most misunderstood animals of the wild kingdom. We’ll dispel myths and explore the important roles these animals have in nature’s diverse web of life. Students will learn the significance of all living things–even the “creepy” ones.
The teachers include: opossum, tarantula, vulture and boa, with line up subject to change.

Will you actually be bringing the animals listed – specifically the possum, and are the people going to impart specific knowledge about each animal?
