Spotted: Two octogenarians at 2024 Tour de Menlo

Menlo Park resident Jym Clendenin is a long time participant in the Tour de Menlo bike ride; this year was his 13th.

At yesterday’s ride, 85-year-old Jym was joined by his 80-year-old biking buddy Ken Lorell with both completing the 65-mile ride (the longest offered).

The Tour de Menlo is sponsored by the Menlo Rotary Community Foundation. All proceeds are used to support need-based Rotary college scholarships to local high school seniors.
