Among the special screenings as part of UNAFF 2024, the International Film Festival, is the short documentary by Menlo Park-based director/producer Dorothy Fadiman.
When Abortion Was Illegal: Untold Stories will be shown at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 3 as part of the UNAFF Women’s Salon. The screening, which is free and open to the public, takes place at the Rinconada Library, 1213 Newell Road, Palo Alto.

No thank you. As a woman, I’ve had enough of hearing that killing defenseless innocent human beings is my “right” — we don’t have a right to kill the human beings. They are not our bodies.

I believe it is between a woman and her doctor. No other person has the right to dictate another’s action. It is a privacy issue. That is why I am pro-choice.
