You need to pay for the whiskey.

Huge advocate of anything Steph is involved in, he’s a Good Man, great role model for our community, it’s not the 4 World Championships, it’s the example he sets, Let’s support Steph on this new endeavor

If id have known I would have been there and bought a bottle for my friend in Fremont

K White October 12, 2024 at 6:01 pm

Yes, I would have agreed, except here’ s what happened:
We had to buy our bottles in advance to get in line to see Steph & get a signed bottle (no problem),
We stood in line for 2 hours, then were told Steph left, and no one advised the remaining crowd (about 1/2 that showed up) how to get the bottles they paid for;
Even worse, we paid about $20 more per bottle vs BevMo price & the bottles weren’t even signed by Steph.
There’s more- we had to stand in another line to get the unsigned bottles, & we were told we couldn’t get a refund, even tho we thought we were purchasing signed bottles.
A total rip-off which has shaken my view of Steph & how he treats people. So many people left upset- such a bummer. Why did he do this?

Well guess what I stood in line for 4 hours and got vip wristbands and was able to get a signed bottle, card, and 3 photos with curry and it’s crazy to me you say your view of Steph and how he treats people is very low class since he doesn’t control the event times and he was already scheduled to go to Costco for another bottle signing event so next time be early and stop complaining

I agree. Exceptional guy. I’ll definitely support him. ❤️❤️❤️ All positive vibes here. Thank you !

Stephen if you are a Christian. Christians should not be involved in money making as a Christian. Are saved sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Guard your soul. God is watching. I am.just a fan that watched you play superior basketball. You are even better when you obey God Almighty. The love of money is the root of all evil. There nothing wrong with the money. It is how you obtain it. Is it for God Almighty. What does a man profit and loses only soul. Do not let your giving be in vain. I am a Disabled American Vietnam veteran who love the souls of men. You only one of those men. Money has always escaped me. Guard your soul Stephen. May God Bless You!

If true:Doesn’t want moderate income housing close to his house but hawks Bourbon for the extra income?

Denisa October 12, 2024 at 10:44 am

Exactly! Which is why someone needs to go there and tell him in person just how we feel about that! I am out of town but would have go there and tell him just that! He needs to be told this; every one is not bad or negative and some of us work hard to put our families in good schools and neighborhoods to have a better life! Who are you to judge everyone!

Danielle Bordegaray October 13, 2024 at 11:10 am

Well then let’s thank God you’re out of town cause your negative and disrespect manner towards a man who’s been a exceptional role model for kids e everywhere on and off the court. My brother used to live down the street from him and said he’s the most humble and friendly fun. So your negativity is unwelcome and trust & believe you opinion on this is not what 90% of ppl feel and think!

Raymond Colclough October 13, 2024 at 3:45 pm

These idiots are never happy if they don’t get thier own way, they just want thier Free Autograph.
I have never met the man but he seems so humble and down to earth. I have been friends with some major baseball stars and seen how rude people can be if they don’t get thier own way
(only personalized the ball or photo etc.) One guy came to a funeral home, another when we were at a bank.

Stop Being so Negative,That energy is unexceptable,if you don’t have nothing positive to say please keep the negative energy to yourself,I understand his feelings, what about all the positive that Steph and his wife is doing for the community, what about that,

Vickie Jones October 12, 2024 at 1:15 pm

What? Not understanding this comment. He and his wife donate millions of dollars and their time to inner city causes. They have no control house prices. He wants to do bourbon? Fine with me and probably others who agree. Don’t hate player; hate game.

Danielle Bordegaray October 13, 2024 at 11:11 am

Absolutely agree with u 100%.

Gabe October 12, 2024 at 10:18 pm

Might be a good opportunity for him to maybe add a tutoring center or something for adelante Selby Lane School in Atherton to raise the test scores of the school to maintain the high property value of the multi family housing.

Zachary L Brown October 12, 2024 at 9:24 am

That’s fantastic I hope I can make it. I don’t drink but having this bottle would be great to always talk about to friends.

Go Stephen

Good news
Good news. Thanks

They ran out of autographed bottles very early. I was there in line from 1pm and finally got to Steph at 4:40.

80% plus of those who waited in line won’t get an autograph.

The worst part is Safeway won’t refund my bottle purchases. So I spent $500 of bourbon and got 0 autographs.

Shame on Safeway

Not cool at all.

Betti October 12, 2024 at 7:52 pm

I too was one of many who didnt get a signed bottle.I understand that he had another engagement at Costco RWC
They knew that and should’ve been honest instead of filling their pockets with PRE SALES. I wanted to get a bottle for my sister in Florida after everything she has been going through .
They first told us too no refunds but you can keep the purchased. We never got the bottle but they claimed to take it and deal with corporate. Well the front office was getting SO MUCH HEAT!!!! They decided to issued a refund. I would recommend taking them back.
DO RIGHT BY THE CUSTOMERS!!!

Jimbo anderson October 13, 2024 at 12:52 am

The fact that one person could buy 6 bottles was the reason why they sold out so quickly. People like you were part of the problem.

DW October 12, 2024 at 6:22 pm

Here’s what happened at this event:
*You had to purchase bottles of the bourbon in advance, to get in line to see Steph & get signed bottles. (bottles cost about $20 more than cheapest published price. (Ok, no prob-they’ll be signed)
*Wait in line at least 2 hours, then hear that Steph left, with 1/2 people who purchased bottles still in line, a couple hundred or so.
*No instructions to stranded crowd how to get their prepaid bottles
*people in store confused, lined up in 2 places to get their bottles
*When you finally get your bottles, they are NOT signed (?!!) and you’re told you can’t get a refund
This was a total rip off & I don’t understand why Steph would treat his fans like that. So many angry & disappointed W’s fans. Bummer
