Costumed riders make for a festive Day of the Horse on Saturday

Cleaver costumes were on display today at the Woodside Day of the Horse, reflecting themes from previous years. The Progressive Trail Ride included the Horse Park where InMenlo contributing photographer Robb Most was on hand to capture the action.

On Sunday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, activities continue at the Family Fun Horse Fair at the Woodside Town Hall (2955 Woodside Rd). There will be free pony rides (down the street at 3117 Woodside Rd.), face painting, equine crafts, the chance to listen to a horse’s heartbeat, and blacksmith demonstrations.
