Locals turn out for the 24th annual Menlo Park Firefighters Association pancake breakfast

Did all of Menlo Park turn out for this morning’s pancake breakfast at Fire Station One — or did it just seem that way?

The firefighters flipped pancakes from 7:30 to 11:00 am, and the line breakfast eaters was steady.

The morning also featured an open house where kids got to see fire equipment up close.

Proceeds from the breakfast benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, dedicated to preventing burns and fires and providing services to those who have been affected by a burn injury.
