Updated rainfall report for Monday — and surprise rain on Tuesday
Our rain report for Monday was issued a little earlier than usual so here’s the final total as measured by InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge.
The total was 0.54″, bringing the year-to-date to 2.13″. It’s the most rain we’ve had in a 24 hour period since the rain year started on October 1.
Then a surprising downpour on Sand Hill Road about 10:30 am with rain continuing until just south of San Francisco. Not much captured in the digital gauge — just 0.01″, bringing the rain year to 2.14″.
Last year’s rainfall was 0.63″ as of November 19.
