Christmas Festival takes place on December 7

As the cold season has come to town you’re invited for a celebration that is sure to warm your hearts at the beginning of December!
For over 60 years the ladies of the Nativity of the Holy Virgin church in Menlo Park have been treating local residents to Slavic cuisine delicacies such as Piroshki, Blintze, Pelmeni, and hot Borscht.
The Christmas Festival will take place on Saturday, December 7, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at 1220 Crane St., Menlo Park.
Offerings include
• Piroshki, Pelmeni, Bliny, Golubtsy and Borscht, served hot or frozen to take out
• Home-made breads, cakes, and baked goods
• Lucky barrel gifts
• Christmas boutique
• Hand-made art, pottery, soaps, knitted toys, festive cards, and more
• Goods from Assumption Monastery in Calistoga
• Live music, folk ensembles Kalina and Kedry
• Petting Zoo, craft activities for kids, and traditional folk games
