Overnight rain yields to mostly sunny skies at noon

The predicted rain did not disappoint with heavy rain starting overnight, yielding to mostly sunny skies at noon.

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge registered a healthy 0.44″ bringing the year to date over five inches for the first time at 5.41″.

The forecast is for more showers this afternoon; we’ll update the daily total as needed.
