Quite a storm in Menlo Park today

Update: the final amount for the 24-hour of Tuesday, February 4 was 1.54″ bringing the season-to-date to 8.82″.

The rain finally arrived in Menlo Park today accompanied by lots of wind.

As of 4:00 pm, InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge registered 1.15″ since midnight.

And yesterday’s total was increased to 0.06″

That brings the season-t0-date to 8.43″.

Given how heavy the rain continues to be, that amount will increase before this storm is done, which is predicted to be early this evening.
