Tiny bit of rain overnight in Menlo Park — and sprinkles throughout the day

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent awoke this morning to find 0.01″ of rain had fallen overnight, according to his digital gauge.

Showers through the day brought the total to 0.03″ at 4:00 pm, bringing the season-t0-date 16.09″.

Menlo resident Robin Tobias emailed this photo of a flowering tree that we’ve seen in numerous places throughout town. Anyone know what it is called?
