Update on Terri Bullock’s kindness film, The Power of Small

Emailed Atherton resident Terri Bullock: “I want to give you an update on the kindness film, The Power of Small.
“T.C. Johnstone started the journey that led to The Power of Small film. Whenever we talked about our hopes for the film, it was to encourage more acts of kindness, more compassionate problem solving. Our conversations were much longer and covered more nuances, but that was the basic goal.
“I’m happy to report that those conversations are continuing and recently the film started being used as program content for individuals/groups wanting to spread awareness of their projects and to raise funds for their work.

“One upcoming event is with a wonderful group in Ben Lomond at the Park Hall Community Center (9400 Mill St.) on Friday, April 18, beginning at 7:00 pm. They are working on community building and revitalization of shared spaces (i.e. park, creek, library). To tell more people about the projects and to raise funds, they are screening The Power of Small.
“I love this use of the film and am hoping to see more people using it as a tool to begin conversations about their passion projects. If you know anyone with a project who is looking for ways to recruit helpers and solicit funds, please share this possibility with them.”
Terri will be there, hosting a Q&A. The screening is free; donations accepted. More on the film online.
