Wow — those were some downpours in Menlo Park

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge was brimming with water from all the downpours that began around 1:00 pm on Monday, registering 1.13″ by midnight.

Meteorologists reported that’s an unusual amount for October.

The season-to-date for the just launched new season that runs until September 30, 2026 stands at 1.48″.
