Dylan Taylor’s ultimate frisbee game continues on Sundays in Menlo Park

About three years ago, Dylan Taylor brought a group of interested folks (students and parents) together from the Menlo Park City School District, where he worked, to play ultimate frisbee on Sundays evenings at Burgess Park. This game has been going on every Sunday since then, and is primarily made up of a friendly community of families from all four MPCSD schools, along with a few families with students at Menlo-Atherton High School.

We even have a few Stanford physicians and others who regularly join us! Everyone is welcome to play. We are a big, friendly family who enjoy our Sunday evenings together playing ultimate.

Since Dylan’s death in a tragic bike accident in May, we have renamed the game from “Menlo Park Ultimate Frisbee for All” to “Dylan Taylor Ultimate Frisbee,” or “DTUF” for short. He was the heartbeat of our weekly games, and is missed greatly. We think he would be so pleased to see our game still going strong.
