Spiffy new guitar art adorns Bar Loretta in Menlo Park

We just happened to set across from Jim Peck and his wife Leslie at Bistro Vida a week or so ago and learned about the guitar he created, now adorning the wall at Bar Loretta next door.

“I designed it and Johnny White created it, following my graphic for JP Digital [the company he owns].

“I’ve never been a big Dead Head but remember the musical history of downtown Menlo Park with the wooden nickels at Joe Prein’s,” said the M-A grad. “And I loved collaborating with Ali [Bar Loretta owner] to make it happen.”

Jim added that a number of old Jerry Garcia posters will lead up to the guitar.

Bar Loretta (639 Santa Cruz Avenue) is open from 5:00 to 10:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
