Latest update on Willow Park development project

The City on Menlo. Park continues to process the development proposal at 80 Willow Road, referred to as “Willow Park.” On October 10, the applicant resubmitted the development proposal in response to the City’s May 6 determination that the application was inconsistent with multiple City development standards.
A determination of inconsistency does not amount to a denial of the project. With the recent application resubmission, there may be project modifications and staff is evaluating and will prepare a response to the applicant.
With regard to environmental review, the City Council approved a professional services contract for LSA Associates to perform the required environmental analysis on May 13. The environmental review work is pending the applicant’s submission of a required deposit for the environmental review work.
The public may view the application materials, including architectural drawings, in person at City Hall, preferably by an appointment which can be made online.
Note: This information was supplied by the City of Menlo Park on October 22.

Please say NO to this monstrosity that absolutely does not fit the neighborhood. I lived in the Willows for 50 years, and it feels like a nightmare every time I see this picture.

Build now comrades! But, proposal not tall enough for major projekt for peace-loving apparatchiks. Financer oligarchs and their siloviki friends need much more space. Builder’s Remedy now party law! Crush all dissent!

Build it, and build it yesterday. We need housing, and we need it here more than ever.
