Menlo Park resident Pete Briger Jr. acquires minority interest in San Francisco 49ers

Menlo Park resident Pete Briger Jr., along the Briger family, have acquired a non-controlling, minority interest in the San Francisco 49ers thought to be for $275M.

Pete Briger is Executive Chairman at Fortress Investment Group, where he serves on the firm’s leadership committee and multiple investment committees. Based in Menlo Park and an active philanthropist, Pete also serves on the boards of the UCSF Foundation and The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park.
