Compost, mulch and soil health class on November 1
On Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, come to the Arrillaga Recreation Center, Juniper Room (700 Alma St, Menlo Park), for an in person workshop to learn simple, effective techniques to build soil health while conserving water and supporting plant growth.
Learn the basics of composting, sheet mulching, soil testing and vermicomposting, plus how to use mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Get a free compost bag as a souvenir!
