Rainbows take center stage on this first Saturday of 2026

Menlo Park residents emailed photos of the rainbow that was seen overhead today. Or was it multiple different rainbows? The fun fact is that all came from different areas.

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital rain gauge registered 0.04″ as of 3:00 pm today, bringing the season-to-date to 10.86″.

It rained on January 3, 2025, too — 0.09′, bringing the 2024-25 season-to-date to 6.65″.
