Spotted: Menlo Park families honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

Laurel Elementary School first graders, Hannah Nickerson and Ethan Fong, were inspired to attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Day March in San Francisco after learning about his life  at school. The March was organized in partnership with the Northern California Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community.

The families — the Nickersons, Khares and Fongs — took Caltrain’s MLK Celebration Train — a free train service to the march — from the Palo Alto station and walked with thousands of other  people through Mission Bay. in SF.
