Oak Knoll third grader’s Bike-A-Thon another success in 2026

Oak Knoll teacher Joyce Chan’s third graders were at it again on April 17, pedaling for 45 minutes to raise money for Pets in Need. The goal: to help dogs, cats, bunnies and other furry friends to find forever homes along with funding for food, toys, blankets and medical care.
Their goal — raise $2,400. What they raised — $12, 254!
Emails Ms Chan:
“A representative from Pets in Need even showed up in an inflatable dog costume to support their ride!
“On May 4, we will take a field trip to deliver the check to Pets in Need.”
