Portola Vineyards announces its 2026 SummerJazz concert series

Portola Vineyards has announced its 2026 SummerJazz series. Bring a picnic dinner to go along with jazz and wine. Music runs 6:00 to 7:30 pm; gates open at 5:00 pm.
June 14 (sold out): Brazilian jazz vocalist Claudia Villela. Jazz Times calls Villela “a Brazilian-born genius with a blistering voice.” Her latest album, Cartas ao Vento, was listed as one of DownBeat’s Best Albums in 2023, with the magazine praising her “unwavering commitment to the highest level of improvisation.”
June 21: SummerJazz multi-instrumentalist and composer Steven Lugerner brings a rare artistic vision to contemporary jazz. “An impeccably trained multi-reedist,” says the New York Times.
July 12: Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist, and composer Marcos Silva, whose music is a living bridge between Brazil’s rich musical heritage and the improvisational spirit of jazz. For decades he has performed on stages across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, bringing with him a sound rooted in the lush rhythms and harmonies of his homeland while embracing the full breadth of the jazz tradition.
August 9: Atta Kid, a band that bridges the precise chaos of East Bay Funk with the contagious lilt of New Orleans soul.
August 16: New York pianist Bill O’Connell, Boston-based bassist Lincoln Goines, and Bay Area drummer Jon Krosnick bring their collective artistry to the stage.
