Echoes of Appalachia performed by Schola Cantorum Silicon Valley on May 16

On Saturday May 16 at  7:30 pm, Schola Cantorum Silicon Valley presents Echoes of Appalachia
at Valley Presbyterian Church, 945 Portola Road, Portola Valley, a journey through the musical landscapes of Earth’s oldest mountain range.

At the center of the program is Sharp & Ramsay’s Come From the Skies: A High Lonesome Mass, a powerful fusion of sacred tradition and Appalachian folk. Framed by timeless favorites like Shenandoah, Down in the River to Pray, and Bright Morning Stars, the concert explores the tension and tenderness of a people shaped by hardship, hope, and unwavering faith.

Free admission for minors and students under 25.
