A bit of rain falls on Menlo Park during Monday evening commute

Motorists traveling to and from Menlo Park during the evening commute on Monday needed to turn on their windshield wipers — even if just briefly.

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge recored 0.03″ inches, bringing the season-to-date to 22.44″.

Last year, the last rain fell in May, bringing the season-to-date to just under 17″.
