Dala’s Nest House Concerts host Jack Cutter on July 12

On Sunday, July 12, from 3:30 to 6:00 pm, Dala’s Nest House Concerts in Menlo Park is hosting Jack Cutter, one of the Bay Area’s finest exponents of Fingerstyle guitar.

 What’s Fingerstyle guitar? It’s what you can do on a guitar using 8 fingers, 2 thumbs, and 6 (sometimes 12) strings — while not adding vocals.

It can be played as classical, country, popular, folk, rock, international, ambient, and at the imagination of the artist. Carrying melody, rhythms, riffs, and background hands-only, Jack presents original compositions as well as nuanced arrangements of existing songs.
