Jeanette Trøstrup Andersen laid to rest in Kolding, Denmark

Today, September 3, 2026, Jeanette Trøstrup Andersen was finally laid to rest at Søndre Cemetery in Kolding, Denmark.

Standing beside the urn are Jeanette’s children, Hector and Sindi.

Earlier this year, InMenlo published an article about Jeanette.

Emails family member Kenneth Jensen: “It meant a great deal to us to see her story presented in Menlo Park — the place where she had lived for so many years, and where she had become a familiar face to so many people.

“For more than 20 years, her family in Denmark had not known what had happened to her. After her identification, we were suddenly faced with the task of piecing together the story of her life in California and understanding the people and places that had been part of her final years.

“Today, after everything that has happened since her identification, Jeanette is finally home in Denmark.”
