Halloween Renaissance Fairy Garden is theme at Fredericksons this year

Santa Monica Avenue at Seminary Drive is back this year with a Halloween Renaissance Fairy Garden theme with selfie stations, music and live actors!
Several 19th century British romantic poems provided inspiration for a magical garden full of fairies living outside a castle’s walls. The poems include Alfred Noyes’ A Song of Sherwood, W.B. Yeats’ The Stolen Child, William Allingham’s The Fairies, and W.B. Yeats’ La Belle Dame Sans Merci.

Over the past 23 years, the Fredericksons other themes have included: Berkeley 1963— Peace, Love and Happiness; Cinderella; Those Naughty Clowns; Indian Wedding Celebration; Chinese Opera and the Five Rings; Coco Y Los Muertos; A Deadly Night In Venice; Cowboys In the Desert; Dead Pirates; and The Grateful Dead.
The Fredericksons welcome thousands of Trick or Treaters each year including a new trend — adults without children. They feel that Halloween is for everyone!
