“Wonder Dialogue,” a conversation moderated by NPR’s Tech Nation host, Moira Gunn, about nurturing today’s students to become tomorrow’s scientists, will take place on Wednesday, Nov.  2 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at SRI’s International Building in Menlo Park. The discussion between Barbara Means, Ph.D., director of SRI’s Center for Technology in Learning, and UCSF Prof. and Science editor-in-chief Bruce Alberts is part of the 10-day San Francisco Bay Area Science Festival. Means and Alberts will share their insights about the current state of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in the U.S. and what educators, researchers, and others can do to improve the quality of, and access to, STEM instruction. The event is free and reservations aren’t necessary.
