Beads 4 Hope at Menlo Park Farmers' Market

The local project in the spotlight at today’s Menlo Park Farmers’ Market was a group of girls who attend Hillview School selling beads to support “two organizations that help stop and prevent child enslavement, especially in Africa.” About 13 students in total participate in the group that they call Beads 4 Hope. They are donating the proceeds from the sale of their handmade jewelry to Kony 2012 and Free the Children.
