Spotted: Barry Bonds’ “personal pitching machine” with the slugger himself

When we interviewed Giants batting practice pitcher John Yandle, we knew he had a special relationship with Barry Bonds, thought of as the slugger’s “personal pitching machine.” So it wasn’t a complete surprise at the Giants game on Memorial Day to spot John greeting the team’s former left fielder. It was Bonds first time at the Park this year, and John was one of many well wishers who stopped by to say hello.
