Faces of Menlo: Lydia smiles – and smiles

Checker Lydia has been dispensing smiles and cheer at  Draeger’s supermarket (a Menlo mainstay) for 19 years.

Her checkout counter often features a treat dish for the kiddies and she always can be counted on for just the right amount of conversation while getting groceries quickly scanned and shoppers are on their way.
