Faces of Menlo: Lynn Macy of Pet Place

Some retail stores are an instant hit. Such was the case with The Pet Place, opened by Lynn (pictured) and husband Marc Macy 17 years ago on Santa Cruz Avenue. Ask almost anyone within a five mile radius (and sometimes farther afield) where they get pet supplies and the answer is usually “Pet Place.” No small measure of the store’s success is the knowledge and caring of the owners, who welcome well-behaved pets (the better to sniff out a new toy!) with a treat and kind word.
