There’s a ton of holiday related events going on in Menlo Park this Saturday and Sunday. We’ve previously chronicled Twas the Night Before Christmas, a preview of the Menlo Park Chorus, and the Christmas Market and Children’s Party at the Allied Arts Guild.

Saturday, Dec. 4

Your kids can have breakfast with Santa, courtesy of Menlo Park’s Community Services Department (call 650-330-2200 for reservations), between the hours of 7:30 and 11:30 am. There will be holiday crafts, music, and pancakes made by Menlo Park Rotary.

The Russian Orthodox church on Crane St. will hold it’s annual Christmas bazaar from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Highlights include the opportunity to sample tasty Russian food.

The Peninsula Women’s Chorus presents Magnificat, a program that includes the premiere of Judith Shatin’s The Jumblies and North American Eclectic Mass. The 4:00 pm performance is at St. Patrick’s Seminary, 320 Middlefield Road. Tickets are $20 general and $10 for students.

Sunday, Dec. 5

Peninsula School, 920 Peninsula Way, hosts a craft fair with handmade toys, jewelry, textile art, ceramics, artisan foods, and other items for sale from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

At 2:30 pm, the choral group Schola Seraphica will perform Gloria in excelsis Deo, a program of sacred holiday music from such composers as Charpentier, Schubert and Dvorak at St. Patrick’s Seminary, 320 Middlefield Road. Admission is $20 general/$15 for seniors and students.
