Where it rocks on Halloween in Menlo Park

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on October 31, 2011

There is a fair bit of discussion about where the best trick or treating is in Menlo Park. Some swear by the streets surrounding Allied Arts. Indeed the houses are, all things considered, fairly close together, providing a lot of bang for your buck. Others are huge fans of the Willows neighborhood. But our vote goes for the sleeper entry, that part of west Menlo south of Santa Cruz Avenue bordered by Lemon Avenue. There you will find well-decorated homes, but more importantly, Menlo’s greatest garage/Dad band, The Members (in background) jamming to the delight of trick or treaters young and old.
