Bruce Good raffles off carpet for charity

by Linda Hubbard on March 29, 2012

Bruce Good, who owns The Oriental Carpet located on Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park, is raffling off a $13,000 handmade carpet from India, in support of his family friend Rene, who is battling cancer.

“He will have no means of income while going through chemo and radiation,” emails Bruce. “It’s a chance to help someone who will get all of the money we raise. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold, and I’ve sold more than 300 tickets in five days.”

Individual tickets are $10. The raffle drawing will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 7:00 at the carpet store.
