The Divisa Ensemble performs at St. Bede’s in Menlo Park on Sept. 23

The Divisa Ensemble is performing at St. Bede’s Church in Menlo Park, on Sunday, Sept. 23, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Included will be music by Arnold, Moeran, Haydn, Leukauf and Sussmayr.
The Divisa Ensemble is recognized for its engaging performances and eclectic programming. A quintet of flute, oboe, violin, viola, and cello, the ensemble’s instrumentation and “mix-and-match” approach allow for a wide variety of repertoire comprising all traditional and contemporary styles. The Divisa Ensemble is committed to exploring music suited to its unique instrumentation and sharing it through performance and education.
Tickets are $20/$16/$5 in advance (available online) and $25/$21/$5 at the door. St. Bede’s Church, located at 2650 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, has a beautiful acoustic, ideally suited to chamber music. Parking is free and plentiful. A reception after the concert in the parish hall offers an opportunity to meet the performers.
