Haitian boys choir performs free concert on Oct. 5 in Menlo Park

A Music for Haiti concert featuring Les Petits Chanteurs, the boys’ choir of Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, will be held Friday, October 5, at 7:00 pm at Trinity Church in Menlo Park. The Music School, which was destroyed in the January 2010 earthquake, is an important educational ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti.  The Episcopal Diocese of California has partnered with the Diocese of Haiti to raise funds for the rebuilding of the school, which currently provides advanced musical training to 1,000 Haitian children.  The concert is free of charge and open to community members; a free will offering will be taken up to help raise funds for the rebuilding of the school. Trinity Church is located at the corner of Ravenswood and Laurel in Menlo Park.
