Rain that greeted early risers gives way to sunny skies

If you edged out of bed just before dawn today, you were greeted by the steady pitter patter of rain. The show was all over by the time most folks left for work, but the overnight showers added .2″, bringing my season-to-date total to 16.25″. That compares to 9.6″ a year ago. That season went on to add 2.35″ in April, meaning we still have a chance for a 20″ season total.
