Finally – a real dousing of rain in Menlo Park

Monday, Dec. 1 update: Bill recorded another .1″ in his gauge over night bringing the year-to-date to 2.3″.
Reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “It is noon and I just emptied .6″ from my gauge for this morning’s dousing. Add that to .1″ recorded yesterday afternoon, and my season-to-date total is now 2.2″. Maybe more to fall today!”

2.2″ may be better than the last two years, but it is so under the norm and the needed rainfall. I’ll be happy when we hit 10 inches for the season.
