Quintessance holiday decor is on sale – for the very last time

Quintessance (889 Santa Cruz Avenue) opened about a decade ago as an antique shop. It morphed over the years into the go-to place for Halloween, Christmas and Easter decor.

But bulletin to local shoppers: This will be the store’s last Christmas. Owner Adrienne Powers is closing her store in May and moving to Oregon.

Currently, holiday decorations are all 25% off. We spotted the jaunty 18-inch Santa pictured tucked in a corner and liked his checked vest. He’s one of many Santas in the store from the Lynn Haney Limited Collection, all priced around $500. The store offers a great choice of other less expensive holiday items.
