Round Table’s 60th anniversary is celebrated with a proclamation

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on December 12, 2019

Menlo Park Mayor Ray Mueller stopped by the Round Table restaurant on El Camino in Menlo Park yesterday to current franchise operator Bob Larson a proclamation extolling the pizza parlor’s longevity on the occasion of its 60th anniversary.

The first Round Table was opened by Bob’s father, Bill Larson, in 1959, using his life savings of $1,800.

I wish they had a Round Table pizza in Topeka Kansas. I grew up in Palo Alto and my favorite was to eat Round Table pizza in downtown Palo Alto.

LaTonya, unfortunately they closed that location earlier this year. It was a shame because that id the one that my family usually went to. Great pizza, nothing quite as good in the area.
