Spotted: Dozens of carefree turkeys
We frequently encounter wild turkeys when walking the Dish. But this morning we counted a record (for us) of at least three dozen spread across a hillside (with our photo capturing only about a third of them). We’re guessing the recent rains pushed something for them to nibble up to the surface. Clearly, they are unaware of what happens to their domesticated cousins in a few days.
