Kitchen fire causes estimated $315,000 damage to Menlo Park home

A fire that started in the kitchen in a home in the The Oaks neighborhood of Menlo Park today spread to the back of the living room and attic, causing an estimated $315,000 in damages, according to Menlo Park Fire Protection District Marshal Jon Johnston.
