Music@Menlo’s 22nd Summer Festival runs July 19 through August 10

David Finckel and Wu Han, Artistic Directors of Music@Menlo Chamber Music Festival and Institute, announced the 22nd season: French Reflections.
For the first time, the festival centers on French chamber music from the Baroque to the twentieth-century, with “reflections” in different musical styles and formats along the way.
Music@Menlo 2024 moves chronologically through the vast riches of French chamber music, exploring the innovations of French composers, and those of their counterparts around the world. The festival features both well-known masterworks and little-heard gems, and culminates in a program of music three centuries distant yet emotionally connected.
Running from July 19 through August 10, the festival presents over 50 events on Music@Menlo’s three stages in Atherton (Spieker Center for the Arts, Menlo School, 50 Valparaiso Avenue) including performances by many of the world’s most renowned artists and ensembles.
