What’s happening on the patio and poolside this summer at Stanford Park Hotel

We’ve long considered the great outdoor patio at the Stanford Park Hotel one of Menlo Park’s hidden gems along with its Menlo Tavern restaurant. Good drinks flow from bartender Ron Manlapid and the food is aptly prepared by Chef Louis Salvatore and staff.
This summer there’s live music Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm as well as during weekend brunch (11:00 am to 2:00 pm). Saturday evenings feature the Fire & Flame BBQ. Poolside dining is available in addition to the patio.
Make it a staycation with the hotel’s Sip & Splash package available on weekends — and most week days (pending availability). It comes with a $50 poolside dining credit and 2:00 pm late check out.
The delicious tomato summer salad (pictured) is one we’ve come to look forward to each year. It comes with what to us was once a mystery ingredient — balsamic vinegar pearls!
