Che Fico & Friends is new guest chef series at Che Fico Parco Menlo

Emailed Che Fico Chef David Nayfeld about the restaurant’s new guest chef series:

“I have always found inspiration from eating in restaurants around the world and collaborating with other chefs. Our new dinner series, Chef Fico & Friends, is a reflection of this.

“Daniele Alvarez and I became friends through social media. She cooked at Chez Panisse before moving to Australia which made her a great choice for our first dinner [on Friday, August 9]”

Danielle is currently chef at The Sydney Opera House.

Chef David continues: “As far as Chad and Hillary, when I’m in LA or NYC, you will likely find me eating in their restaurants. Antico Nuovo and Ci Siamo are at the top of my recommendation list when people ask me where to eat Italian food.”

Chef Chad Colby (Antico Nuovo/Los Angeles) will be the guest chef on Friday, August 16.  Chef Hillary Sterling (Ci Siamo/New York City) will be the guest chef on Thursday, September 12.

“The Bay Area is renowned for its incredible culinary scene and access to some of the finest ingredients in the world,” said Chef David. “I can’t wait to have them in my kitchen to cook with me.”
