Take the Menlo Park Fire Protection District survey before October 7

by Contributed Content on October 3, 2024

The Menlo Park Fire Protection District is in the process of developing a multi-year strategic plan to guide its direction and prioritize its efforts. AP Triton, LLC, a public safety consulting firm, has been contracted to facilitate this process. Your participation is crucial to ensuring the plan reflects the needs of the community.

This survey will help the fire department understand your priorities and expectations regarding the district’s services. It includes questions on service importance, planning priorities, expectations, strengths, concerns, and any additional thoughts you may have.

The survey is anonymous, takes about 10 minutes to complete, and will be available until 8:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2024.

Please keep in mind that this is requesting your level of satisfaction with services received from the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, not from other agencies such as police or ambulance service.

Please feel free to share with members of your groups and any other friends or neighbors in the community.  Take the online survey.

The Menlo Park Fire Protection District serves Atherton and Menlo Park as well as East Palo Alto and some unincorporated area.

I am not sure what the menlo-park-fire-protection-district does. Does it cover general fire protection, e.g., if my house is on fire or my neighbor has hazardous substances or waste, or brush is piled in a hazardous way somewhere, or does it cover things like forest fires and their prevention, or both. Please advise.

Yes, general fire protection. Here’s link to the district’s webpage: https://www.menlofire.gov
