Heavy rain expected from Wednesday, February 12 into Friday

US National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area/Monterey California forecasts significant rain beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12, into Friday, with very heavy rain Thursday morning. In addition, strong winds are forecast for Thursday — Friday. Gusts could be up to 30 mph.

Storms may cause ponding on roadways, downed trees or tree limbs, and power outages.

City of MenloPark staff will continue to monitor storm impacts and share additional details as they become available.
